Courtesy of my brothers enthusiasm, I'm now a PADI-certified open water diver, with a speciality in drift diving. :) I had some hassle with getting certified, with my larger size requiring a custom wetsuit and the Spring weather not cooperating for my open water certification dives. But I finally got it done! And in time to join two of my brothers and their wives for a diving vacation in Cozumel, Mexico.

I'm hooked! Not just because of the lovely waters of the Caribbean, but with the sensations of diving itself. It really is another world, with so much new and different to see and feel!
